The Georgia School for the Deaf (GSD) provides comprehensive, appropriate education and services to deaf and hard-of-hearing students between the ages of three and twenty-one and their families. Located in Cave Spring, Georgia, the School offers day and residential programs which meet the academic, social and physical needs of students in a total communication environment.

These programs seek to ensure that all deaf and hard-of-hearing students in the State have the opportunity to develop into socially and emotionally stable young adults who can lead full and productive lives. To this end, the staff and faculty of the Georgia School for the Deaf devote themselves to the care and well-being of their students. The School also serves as a staff development and technical resource center for local school systems and other agencies.
