UPDATE: The State Board of Education recessed its called meeting today due to technical issues with the planned livestream of the meeting. No action was taken.

​October 18, 2023 – The State Board of Education will hold a called board meeting via teleconference on Friday, October 20 at 10 a.m. The purpose of the meeting is to consider approval of the state literacy metric as required by the Georgia Early Literacy Act.

The meeting will be livestreamed and can be heard by the public at youtube.com/gadoemedia.
