State Board of Education member Frank Griffin to hold 2nd district public hearing

February 19, 2024 – State Board of Education member Frank Griffin will hold a public hearing for citizens in the 2nd Congressional District on Wednesday, February 28 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Muscogee County Schools, 2960 Macon Rd., Columbus, GA 31906.

The purpose of the hearing is to hear comments from interested citizens and educators within the congressional district regarding K-12 public education. Those wishing to speak should sign in upon arrival. For more information, please contact Geraldine Price at gprice@doe.k12.ga.us

The 2nd Congressional District includes the Baker, Calhoun, Chattahoochee, Clay, Crawford, Decatur, Dooly, Dougherty, Early, Grady, Lee, Macon, Marion, Miller, Mitchell, Peach, Quitman, Randolph, Schley, Seminole, Stewart, Sumter, Talbot, Taylor, Terrell, Thomas, and Webster county school districts; the Pelham and Thomasville city school districts; and portions of the Bibb, Houston, and Muscogee county school districts.
