Meetings, Minutes & Webcasts
State Board meetings begin at 9 a.m. on the second Thursday of the month, in the
State Board Room. All scheduled Board meetings are open to the public.
Starting in July 2000, the State Board began having State Board of Education
Committee meetings the day before each regularly scheduled Board meeting. The
purpose of these committee meetings is to discuss the various items that will be
presented for action at the regular Board meeting. The committees meet for a
designated amount of time and then all committees meet as a Committee of the
Whole (COTW).
