Superintendent Cox Visits Muscogee County Schools
|
State Superintendent of Schools Kathy Cox visited with students, teachers, administrators, and community members in Muscogee County, Thursday, October 29. Superintendent Cox taught a lesson about Totalitarianism to World History students at Jordan Vocational High School. While at the high school, Superintendent Cox also enjoyed lunch prepared by Culinary Arts students. Later, she visited Fort Middle School, where she saw a performance by the new ballet program, observed several classes, and met with a group of teachers and parents to congratulate them on making AYP. Finally, she stopped by Richards Middle School to speak with teachers after school and celebrate their success in also making AYP.
 Superintendent Cox is welcomed to Jordan Vocational High School by Principal Stone, Superintendent Andrews, and Board of Education Chair Schley.
 Superintendent Cox teaches Mr. Jones and Mr. Hundley's World History class about Totalitarianism at Jordan High School.
 Superintendent Cox speaks to Georgia Studies students at Fort Middle School about Sherman's March to the Sea.
 Superintendent Cox is welcomed to Richards Middle School by Principal Johnson. |
