Scott Sweeney is Chair of State Board of Education of the State of Georgia. He also serves as a member of the CTAE Business & Industry Advisory Cou​ncil. He serves as Senior Business Advisor for InPrime Legal, recognized as one of four 2019 Small Business ROC​K STARS in Georgia by the Georgia Department of Economic Development and the Georgia Economic Developers Association. Scott served as an eight-year, two-term elected member of the Cobb County Board of Education in roles including the Board Chair, Vice-Chair, Budget Liaison, and Facilities & Technology Committee Liaison. Scott served as a board or committee member on national, state, and local non-profit organizations. He is a frequent speaker at education and industry events, and an author industry and education publications within the Cobb County community. He and his wife, Sandy, reside in East Cobb with their two children.​​
